With nearly 15 years of experience in addiction recovery and mental health, Tara Hurster is known for her no-nonsense, compassionate approach that cuts through shame and puts high performers back in control.

She founded The TARA Clinic (Therapeutic Addiction Recovery Assistance) to challenge the outdated, all-or-nothing model of rehab and instead deliver an empowering alternative for professionals who want to reclaim their edge - without disrupting their life or success.

Tara's own experience of recovery adds another layer of insight into her work. She shares her story openly to show what full recovery can truly look like. Her life after addiction was so full, in fact, that she once forgot she was even in recovery. For her, real recovery isn't just about stopping a behaviour - it's about rebuilding your sense of self and learning how to lead yourself again.
